We are still open and offering the same number of GP appointments as usual, and are still processing prescriptions. However, in line with government and NHS England recommendations, all appointments we are currently booking will be telephone or video consultations to reduce footfall at the practice in order to protect yourself, your fellow patients and our staff from COVID-19. If the doctor decides following your consultation that you do need to be seen in person arrangements will then be made accordingly. If you do have a telephone appointment booked, please ensure you have your telephone charged and to hand from your appointment time onwards and be aware that your call may be from a private/unknown number. As per face-to-face clinics, appointments can run behind as some patients problems are more complex than others so we cannot guarantee your appointment will be exactly on time.
Unfortunately the doctor will only be able to try to telephone you twice and if unable to get through on either occasion you will need to rearrange your appointment for another day.
Please try and avoid coming to the surgery unless absolutely necessary. You can order prescriptions online; if you do not currently have online access this can be set up by accessing the NHS App and completing the identifications steps at home. Alternatively you can text or email us with prescription requests – just send your name, date of birth and the medications you require to 07780 793149 in the former case or [email protected] in the latter instance. Our telephone lines are still open as usual for appointment bookings and all other queries.
